Facing problems

        The steam turbine has a large volume and appearance, a small gap between the blade rows, and is easy to form an angle. The customer requires high accuracy of scanning data, good scanning technology, and the ability to complete the work in a short time, which is very challenging.

         The traditional scanning method has limitations in use. The sample is too large, difficult to splice, and consumes too much time. It cannot meet the needs and solve the problem quickly.

Solution

        Regardless of the size of the sample, we have equipment suitable for scanning. For this time, the customer wanted to scan the steam turbine. Our engineers used the 3D photogrammetry system HL-3DP to conduct a comprehensive scan. First, they attached the coding points, and then took images from different angles. , import the image into the HOLON3DP software for processing, and the software will automatically combine the images to obtain the 3D coordinates of the encoding point.

        The obtained 3D data is then imported into the 3D software for comparison and analysis with the original data, and a detection data analysis report is generated. The detailed scan is very good, the data is complete, and the problem can be directly seen. The customer is very satisfied with the data we scanned and can actually solve it. To solve the problem, the steam turbine design can be improved based on the test data to produce more market competitive products.
