Solution

        The company needs to purchase a 3D scanner to obtain the 3D data of the wind turbine canopy for reverse design and later product quality inspection.          The size of the wind turbine nacelle cover is very large, about 8 meters long and 3 meters wide. Based on its size, Hualang engineers recommended the use of the oversized workpiece 3D scanner α7000 + 3D photogrammetry system HL-3DP. HL-3DP is a portable optical three-dimensional coordinate system that can measure the three-dimensional coordinates of all landmark points (or codes) at one time. Can be used alone or integrated with area scanning. During measurement, a high-resolution digital camera is used to take photos of the object from different angles. The resulting series of photos can be calculated by the software to obtain the precise spatial coordinates of these reference points.

         α7000 is a 3D scanner specially designed for large objects. Its scanning speed is fast, and the entire scanning process takes less than 2 hours. The scanning accuracy is high, and the error value of the 80 screw holes on both sides of the cabin cover is only 0.012mm.
