The intake manifold refers to the intake line before the carburetor or throttle body to the cylinder head intake. Its function is to distribute the air and fuel mixture from the carburetor or the
throttle body to the intake ports of each cylinder to maintain the safety of driving. The tolerances of the connection between the intake manifold and the engine are very strict. The installation of the sensors and actuators on the manifold is also very accurate. Therefore, no large errors can be expected from the data acquisition.
