HOLON 3D, founded in Shenzhen, China, is a global industrial 3D digital measurement instrument manufacturer and one of the earliest companies in China to develop 3D optical measurement systems.

The company's research and development project began in 1999, leveraging Shenzhen's unique advantages in innovation and R&D. In 1999, a three-coordinate line laser 3D scanner was developed. In 2003, a white light photogrammetric 3D scanner (followed by a blue light photogrammetric 3D scanner in 2005) was introduced. In 2006, a handheld 3D laser scanner based on the Damann grating was developed. This handheld 3D laser scanner features original technology, with the camera and electromechanical components designed and developed from the ground up, incorporating photogrammetric technology and angular marker data stitching technology. In the same year, an industrial-grade line laser handheld 3D scanner was iteratively launched, filling a gap in the domestic technological field of such products at that time.

In 2023, the company introduced the Scan cobot series, an automated production line 3D inspection system, efficiently addressing users' needs for batch 3D data inspection of workpieces on production lines.

In 2024, HOLON3D successively upgraded and iterated its products, launching the high-performance industrial 3D handheld scanner Model 49 series; large-area industrial 3D scanner Thor (1x1m; 2x2m); and the multifunctional industrial 3D scanner Magic series (combining the functions of handheld 3D scanners and photogrammetric 3D scanners).
