A major airline has specially invited our company to conduct 3D scanning of the inner wall of aircraft engines to obtain high-precision 3D data, thereby achieving modeling and repair of the inner wall of aircraft engines to save costs and time. This will reduce the difficulty of later mold opening, processing, and repair work.

1. The inner wall of an aircraft engine has a large volume and numerous curved surfaces. Customers have very high requirements for the precision of the 3D data of the inner wall of the aircraft engine cover, to ensure that the precision meets the standards.

2. The curvature of the inner and outer surfaces of the aircraft engine is difficult to measure manually. The customer requires the ability to obtain complete and accurate data in a relatively short period of time, so as to facilitate the rapid progress of subsequent work, ensure the smooth progress of repair modeling in the later stage, reduce costs, and save time.

Based on the customer's requirements and the problems they faced, Huaguang 3D technology engineers proposed a solution: using our newly developed large-format scanning equipment, the photo-based 3D scanner W3000, to quickly and accurately acquire the 3D data of the inner wall of the aircraft engine. The scanned 3D data was imported into software to fit the STL triangular mesh surface, and then imported into 3D design software for modeling and repair. This improved the efficiency of product structural design and improvement, enabling rapid progress in subsequent work. Not only did it save time, but it also controlled costs, successfully solving the problems faced by the customer.
