The engine is the power part of the aircraft and the heart of the entire aircraft. The performance of the engine is directly related to the fate of the entire aircraft. In the past, engine borehole exploration technology mainly relied on manual observation and personal experience to judge engine faults, which made diagnosis difficult and easily caused errors due to human subjective factors. With the development of 3D digitization, a new handheld laser scanning technology has emerged.

3D Inspection of Aircraft Impellers

3D scanning systems can be used to inspect aircraft components. The process begins with scanning the part; thanks to non-contact scanning technology, it is easy to scan complex curved surfaces—including delicate or fragile areas and regions inaccessible to physical probes—thereby significantly reducing scanning time. The scan data is then compared against the CAD model, with a color-coded error map displaying the location and magnitude of deviations, providing the necessary CAD data for corrections.

3D Inspection of Aircraft Blades

The system supports multi-mode scanning, allowing for seamless switching between modes based on the surface being scanned; this ensures both efficiency and high precision, significantly accelerating the pace of full-dimensional inspection. Featuring proprietary software and hardware, the system offers a "resume scanning" function that maintains real-time data capture, while industrial-grade specifications deliver high-precision results that robustly support subsequent inspection and reverse engineering workflows.
