Facing problems

· The hull features large‑scale complex streamlined curved surfaces,and complete 3D shape data cannot be obtained through traditionalmanual measurement;

· Without standardized 3D models, there is no accurate data supportfor hull modification, dimension verification and shape archiving;

· The surveying and mapping efficiency for large‑sized objects isextremely low, making it impossible to fully restore curved surfaceradians and overall structural details.

Solution

HOLON 3D engineers deploy industrial‑grade 3D scanning equipment that works reliably even in outdoor conditions. Full‑surface data acquisition for the entire craft can be completed within 2 hours, fully capturing every detail of the outer casing, control console and assembly interfaces. The scanning accuracy reaches ±0.05 mm, reproducing the continuous contours of streamlined curved surfaces as well as all tiny structural features at a 1:1 scale. Upon scan completion, a high‑precision triangular mesh model is exported. The data can be directly imported into mainstream design software such as SolidWorks and UG, requiring no secondary repair, and can serve directly as the reference digital model for modification design.

Full‑scale hull deviation analysis can be performed based on scan data, with worn and deformed areas and their values quantitatively marked to deliver accurate references for repair and restoration.Meanwhile, permanent digital archiving of the original factory‑specified form is realized, providing a unified digital benchmark forsubsequent maintenance, replication and modification.

Leveraging precise 3D‑scanned models, custom‑fitted components can be directly designed and verified through virtual assembly in the digital environment, eliminating manual prototyping and trial‑and‑error processes. The development cycle for a single component is shortened from 1‑2 weeks to 2‑3 days. The fitting tolerance between components and the hull is controlled within 0.1 mm, while consistentinstallation performance is guaranteed across multiple batches of components.
