Angle steel, as a common type of steel, is widely used in various construction and industrial fields. But with so many pieces of angle steel in different shapes, figuring out how long they last quickly and accurately has become a challenge.

The surface features are complex, and the client has high requirements for data accuracy to get precise error values for key parts. Traditional measurement methods struggle to meet the client's needs.

HOLON engineers use the HOLON B71 3D scanner, which boasts a scanning accuracy of up to 0.01mm. It features 11 pairs of intersecting blue laser lines for quickly scanning large-angle steel in wide-ranging mode, and 7 parallel blue laser lines for extracting detailed features in precision mode. With 3D scanning technology, we can quickly and accurately get 3D models of angle steel, providing strong support for the construction and engineering fields. In the future, as technology keeps advancing, 3D scanning will play a unique role in even more areas.
